With a love of Star Wars, music, and working with children in their careers, Jessica and Andrew dreamed of an intimate backyard wedding with their closest loved ones. Family and friends planned every step of the way and made the big day come to reality—Jessica’s father landscaped the backyard, created a rustic arch, and hung a chandelier at the altar while her Mom decorated the entire reception hall alongside her aunt and grandma.
From a gorgeous cascade bridal bouquet with fern accents to classic black bridesmaid dresses to a guitar guestbook set the stage for a classic wedding with a dash of quirky personality. To make it a true personal memory, Andrew wrote a song just for his bride and performed it during the ceremony, while Jessica’s dad and brother, who both serve as everyday pastors, also had a part in helping them say their vows.
Because no wedding of theirs would be without a heroic touch, it was not surprising that the entire line of groomsmen had superhero t-shirts underneath their suits. And it was especially not a shock to anyone in attendance that light sabers were purchased specifically for an epic duel with the children in attendance.
The two newlyweds departed the big day on a stress-free cloud nine because it was exactly how they envisioned their wedding to be.
