“My mother’s whole family is from East Texas, the Old Southern part of the state, and seven generations before us were married in the region since the original branch of the family arrived during the Antebellum period in Jefferson, TX, by steamboat from New Orleans. Family tradition and heritage inspired everything about my wedding, from the dress to the decor. Even the wedding invitations, hand drawn and letter pressed by my sister in law in England (MishMish Paper Co.) incorporated the family history through a map of East Texas highlighting places in our family's long history in the state.”

Jillian and Alex were so fun to plan with because of their laid back, but lively personalities. Their Highland Park United Methodist Church wedding ceremony was perfection, followed by a gorgeous Downtown Dallas wedding reception. A classic wedding from start to finish filled with ivories and whites, this night was so full of love and laughter.
