Whitley of Eastwood Events was immediately swept off her feet by the flight museum location when her father took her there to show the place off. His passion and love for planes was a huge part of the inspiration for this shoot and each little detail was an important part of making it come to life.
With a variety of different planes to choose from, we wanted to show off the unique features of each one and utilized a variety off props from many different rental companies to accent those different planes and spaces within the museum. Encouraging all of the vendors involved to get creative allowed for all sorts of fun things to happen: a flower filled hot air balloon, an amazing "worldly" cake and some especially fun paper pieces. We brought in vintage suitcases and personal touches from Whitley's family as well. It was certainly a fun theme to work with and watching plans fly in and out of the museum all day just made it all that much more real!
