I love fall and early winter. I love the weather, cozying up on the couch with a blanket, the sound of the rain on the roof, ever changing leaves, and chunky knit sweaters. So, when I started planning a fall themed shoot I wanted to bring forth that love in the form of depth, texture, tones, and of course the romance that fall represents for me!
Karissa of Karissa Roe Photography was really able to capture the effortless beauty of fall and how cozy it can be. Our lovely venue, The Finery on Camano, was the perfect locale. An intimate venue tucked in the trees with such natural beauty. I mean the pampas grass alone make this venue extra special. When it came to creating a color palette, I wanted something warm, but with beautiful pops of color. The plums and sienna colored hues managed to convey just that.
We were lucky enough to snag the GORGEOUS “Reagan” gown from BHLDN that provided just enough soft flow for this shoot and that soft porcelain color? Perfection! The lovely compote centerpieces by Natalie at Pozie by Natalie brought our color palette to life and added some lovely texture and the bridal bouquet was truly a work of art and evoked all kinds of autumn feels.
The cake was expertly done by Blue Box Bakery. Her work is artistic and delicious. Trust us, since we all got to sample the cake when the shoot was done!
