"Hunter Mountain is an incredible spot located in the Catskill Mountains and it was an absolutely perfect day for Carly and Jake’s summer wedding -- abundant sunshine and a comfortable temperature, especially for August. They had their ceremony at the top of Hunter Mountain which required a ski lift ride to get to. Even though I was still shooting some during the ride, I couldn’t stop thinking how amazing the whole thing was. I mean, the views are out of this world in all directions and it was just so serene! I kind of wish every wedding ceremony had a 10 minute ski lift ride to and from.
Carly and Jake had a perfect ceremony officiated by her uncle with the most incredible views of the Hudson Valley with their family and friends. The setting went so well with their adventurous and free spirited personalities. These two sure have a lot of close friends! Their wedding party was on the larger side and their energy was great. At one point Carly was talking to me and all of her girls started singing in unison to get her to come over to them for some photos. It was pretty amazing. The bridesmaids were also were looking fantastic in their bohemian style maxi dresses -- all in different, but complimentary styles. The boys rocked feather boutonnieres which were a cool change from the traditional flower ones. Their cocktail hour took place on the deck as the sun set behind the mountain.
