"Our thought process behind this shoot was: "If JR Ewing got married now, what would his wedding look like?" We envisioned a masculine tone with the pheasant feathers (as opposed to more traditionally seen peacock) along with deep reds to go against the dark wood of the Rustic Venue. We wanted to play up black tie, not go too rustic, but still keep boots around! It turned out to be a stunning winter wedding look inspired by Old Oil Money!"
An Intimate San Francisco City Hall Wedding
"Jen and Jim wanted an intimate wedding with 30 of their closest friends and family members. They chose a San Francisco City Hall wedding as their destination as the first time Jen ever saw it, it took her breath away. Although a simple wedding there were sentimental and unique touches throughout the day. Jen decided to do a first look with her girlfriends and also her father. During the ceremony three readings were given reciting song lyrics by NSYNC, Bon Jovi, and Kayne West as these are artists that played a role in the couples life and relationship. After the ceremony a cable car picked everyone up to take a tour of San Francisco ending at the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Guests danced, sipped cocktails, and enjoyed lite snacks during the ride!"
A Los Angeles Aborteum Engagement Session
"Nathan and I met when I started working at our local BMW dealership. We HATED each other for the first few months, and then one night we decided to go out for drinks to try and "bury the hatchet"... we have been inseparable since." They had a garden setting engagement session because Nathan proposed at a botanical garden. In her words, "Last September Nath said we should go to the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens with our best friends for a nice day out. He made it sound so low key! Like let's just go hangout and then get lunch.. no biggie! We were walking through the gardens and at one big boulder our friends stopped to take a picture, and Nathan told me we should get one too. So we are both posing and then he asks me."
