Wedding Registry Cookware | What should I register for?
Sponsored with love by Anolon
Back in 2013 when we were engaged, our wedding registry was a bit overwhelming, to say the least. There were so many options for everything. Which brand is best? What color is best? What can we actually agree on? It took us forever and it was not as fun as we had imagined it.
But you know what was fun? Getting gifts in the mail one by one leading up to our wedding day, opening up those packages and filling out kitchen with brand, sparkling new cookware.
You see, neither of us had ever had nice cookware. We were just out of college and had maybe two pots and pans in each of our kitchens so opening up that box and seeing that expensive, shiny cookware was like a dream. We were real adults now.
The first time we got to cook with our new kitchenware, we were so excited. We chose our kitchenware based on price -- they were one of the most expensive sets we could find so that meant they were super nice, yeah?
Wrong.
We were totally wrong. We went to cook for the first time and everything stuck. We burned one pan and the other we couldn't even wash off after scrubbing and scrubbing and scrubbing....and that was after using plenty of oil with cooking too. It was a nightmare, we wanted to ditch our expensive pans immediately and actually do research on the best pans to add to our wedding registry.
And so, I'm here to prevent the same thing from happening to you.

A 70's Inspired Record Shop Engagement
"I really wanted our engagement photos to be more than pretty poses in a pretty setting… I wanted them to be a reflection of who we are as a couple, and Mikayla and Luke of Agape Photography perfectly captured our vibe. Aidan is a guitarist and a singer/songwriter so music is a big part of our relationship -- We actually randomly wrote a song together the first night we met. I'm also an artist and love 70s fashion and culture. We spent the day at a record shop where we met the coolest in-store cat, wandered around a retro, up-and-coming arts district where we often go to see local bands perform, and frolicked in the light of the setting sun on the shore of Lake Erie. It was an experience we will forever treasure. -- Lindsey, the bride-to-be"
