DressWeights | Keep your dress from blowing in the wind.

Sponsored with love by DressStrong

If you’re a bridesmaid or a wedding guest or heck, if you ever plan on wearing a dress again in your life, this is golden. It’s magic. I don’t know how I’ve lived 28 years without it. Well, I’ve lived just fine but I love wearing dresses — and flowy dresses at that — and there’s nothing worse than having to hold that dress down for an entire evening of fun because of that thing we all dread: wind.

DressWeights to the rescue!

DressWeights are these little tiny weights that stick to the inside of your dress, right at the bottom. Just peel and stick and voila, you’re all set for an evening of windy dress wearing in just seconds.

Pretty genius, huh?

Have them available for your wedding guests or even include them as part of your bridesmaid gift and you will be thanked, I promise.

Olivia and Chris said “I do” at the most gorgeous plantation wedding venue. A Nashville, North Carolina wedding venue, Rose Hill Plantation was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful day. Bridal portraits with horses, the most stunning all white wedding bouquet, purple bridesmaid dresses and a gorgeous beaded wedding gown, this Rose Hill Plantation wedding was absolute perfection.

A Dance-Inspired Beach Elopement

“This music and dance inspired elopement was inspired by our mutual love for the arts. We wanted to focus on the simplicity of an elopement, so we chose to forgo a typical table design. For the location, we chose a discreet section of Montrose Beach in Chicago. The gown worn by the bride was a white lace top paired with a blue-gray tulle skirt and we chose a classic gray suit for the groom. The models are a real life couple as well as dancers/choreographers/actors. Because of this, I was able to photograph them doing some incredible "stunts" like the unforgettable Dirty Dancing move. Additionally, the stationery featured a vintage ballerina stamp and the pink cake included hand painted music notes and ledgers. We also found a cellist to accompany us at the beach.”

This dance-inspired beach elopement will surely fill you up with a whole lot of love.
