Raquel and Elliott's inter-faith wedding and reception was held at the historic Bel-Air Bay Club. An August wedding, the Southern California weather was perfect for a beach side wedding. A beautiful arch framed the ocean as Raquel descended onto the lawn ceremony site to a string quartet playing 'Beautiful Tonight.' Her bridesmaids wore a rainbow of colors, each offering a little hint of their personalities.
At the ceremony conclusion, guests journeyed up to the patio and living room where they were greeted with cocktails, a live trio of musicians and a station of savory treats. The couple, not wanting to miss out on the revelry, joined in too!
The reception was a beautiful room of cream florals and dusty rose accents. A nine person band introduced the new Mr. and Mrs. and the night was off! One of my favorite parts of the evening was overhearing a guest's laugh when DNCE's 'Cake By the Ocean' played during the cake cutting (as it was literally in the window closest to the ocean)! The rest of the evening showed a multi-generation Hora dance and a get-away car from the 30s.
We wish the beautiful couple a happy and healthy life together!
