A Maui Beach Engagement Session

"Adam and I met at a realtor conference in New York.  We lived in the same area in Washington state, but just happened to be at the same conference. We started chatting at lunch during the conference. Adam asked me if I wanted to see New York city with him for the first time, I accepted. We tried to do as many things possible within a couple hours. Walking over 5 miles, visiting The Rockefeller Center and Central Park. We stopped by several restaurants to try different foods and drinks.  Our conversations were easy and he made me laugh. We instantly felt as if we had known each other for years. The fact that he didn't get frustrated with me switching from heels to flip flops over a dozen times as we walked the streets of New York (trying to be fashionable on the busier streets I wanted my heels on) made me think he might be a great catch.  After the conference, he offered to take me to the airport.  I felt so comfortable with him as we were driving , Mirrors by Justin Timberlake came on and I just started singing at the top of my lungs which I never Do!

Adam knows I love fireworks.. . So he planned a special dinner at a beautiful restaurant and then took me to the lake to park and watch the fireworks.  He proposed at the grand finale of the show.  Then unfortunately we ran over a screw and got a flat tire.  We had just enough air to get to a gas station to change the tire.  Definitely memorable! I have a beautiful 2.2 c Princess cut diamond that is raised like a crown with 8 smaller diamonds around the base signifies the 8 children we have between us!

We will be having our ceremony in Maui with just our 8 children.  We have rented a gorgeous vacation home on the water and will say our vows on the lawn overlooking the water.  My 17 year old daughter will be playing her ukele for me walk down the aisle with my son leading me.  She will be playing "I can't help falling in Love with you."

After the ceremony we have hired a chef to make us dinner and eat on the lawn with a beautifully decorated table. The next day we will have our photographer Vanessa Hicks go out on a scuba diving cruise to capture photos of our day. When we return home to Lake Chelan. We are boating our reception with 300 of our friends at Siren Song Winery.  We will have a live band, a magician to entertain guests, an corn hole court and Italian soda bar for the kids. For the garter, I am planning a choreographed hip hop dance routine with a local dance team."
