With a beautiful Westfields Marriott outdoor wedding ceremony planned, strong winds moved their wedding inside where Bergerons Flowers did an incredible job transforming the ballroom space into a gorgeous ballroom ceremony. With dark blue and wine wedding colors and whimsical wedding details, this Virginia wedding was one for the books.
Michael and Colleen met in 2011 at Gannon University in chemistry class and a bond was quickly formed between the two of them. On December 22, 2011 Michael and Colleen went on their first official date to the Pittsburgh Nutcracker. Then four years later, Michael convinced Colleen to return to that same ballet and proposed to her on her Grandmother's porch swing upon their return home. We're not sure you can get sweeter than these two!
St. Anselm's Church is where she was baptized, had her first reconciliation, first communion and was confirmed. And as if that wasn't enough, it was also the same church her parents got married in! So of course she knew she had to have a St. Anselm Catholic Church wedding. After saying their vows, they had a Duquesne University ballroom wedding with a classic wedding feel and touches of the most gorgeous ballerina bride you've ever seen.
