We see over-the-top weddings, full of floral and decor galore all over the internet. And we can't help but think, "This is gorgeous!" Because it is gorgeous! The sight of flowers and carefully placed shiny items all over a decorated room brings smiles to our faces.
But is there an alternative? Can a simple wedding be just as stunning?
Well, of course! And in my eyes, those simple weddings are even more stunning than the over-the-top ones. Anyone else with me?

With every accessory, flower, and piece of decor comes a price. And although it may seem small when looked at alone, it all adds up!
Financial troubles in marriage are one of the leading causes of divorce, so save yourself the trouble! Stick to a budget, and budget small. Don't extend your current finances and don't expect to win the lottery during your engagement. Take on only what you know 100% you can manage and you're off to a great start!
Is an over-the-top wedding worth a divorce? I don't think so! And if you say yes, then you probably aren't ready for marriage anyways.
Less Decisions = Less Stress
With every item, comes a decision. What color, what kind, what texture? The more you involve in your wedding plans, the more decisions you are going to have to make. And with each decision, the stress adds up!
So choose a color and a general theme, and only add to what you know you're going to love working on. We all know that wedding stress is not fun, so save yourself the worry and keep it simple!
Because it's prettier anyways!
Personally, I love the look of simplicity. If you follow me on social media, I'm sure you've seen me comment at least hundreds of times, "Simply Stunning." The reason? In my eyes, simplicity is more gorgeous than clutter, for lack of a better word. And if you prefer that look as I do, then the decision for a simple wedding is a no-brainer!
