From the Bride: Our love story did not start out as any typical love story would... It is our story though!

In 2009, Brandon and I met through a mutual friend. We became mutual friends ourselves, but it just wasn't our time to become more than that. God, had other plans to make us grow even more as a couple.

As most of our senior year had already passed, we began to have all kinds of senior activities that were done as a group. We began to see each other a lot more, and it made us realize that we still had a connection pulling at our hearts. While on our senior trip, we both made memories we will never forget. It was one of the best times of our lives! I still remember to this day a conversation I had with my mom in Panama City Beach, FL; She said "You know this might not last when you get home." I honestly felt there was a reason that we were brought back together and I was fine with the decision I was making.

In September of 2010, Brandon and I were in Starkville, MS visiting our friends that had moved off to college. We had a blast while there, but one thing that I will always remember was the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. If any of you knew me, I had been waiting for this day. While there I heard the words every young girl wants to hear. I remember of course saying "YES" and the big smile I had on my face!

As months and years went on we continued to grow our relationship stronger than ever. Brandon had told me for years that he knew I was the one that he wanted to marry -- He was just waiting on me to finish court reporting school. If you know Brandon at all, then you know he is extremely hard headed. You will not change his mind! The only person that can change his mind is the Lord, and He spoke to Brandon one day while at the gym. He told Brandon that it was time to make me his wife.

For months leading up to the engagement, he had been trying to find the perfect ring! (He definitely did just that!!!) He even had it in his truck the whole time, in a hidden compartment under his cup-holder. Many ideas on how to propose had ran through his mind... but I had told him one thing I always wanted was for my family to be a part of it, and for it to be captured by a photographer.

THE BIG PROPOSAL: My mom and I had set up an appointment to have pictures taken by Shaunda Crockett, like we do every year for my moms Christmas cards. I was sending my mom pictures of different outfits to match my brothers all week and finally found the dress I was going to wear. My mom offered for me to get my nails done with her (of course I accepted) and I remember her being so worried about what color I was choosing for my nails. I had no clue why she was wanting me to choose a different color, but I know now! I then remember asking my mom if it would be okay to invite Brandon's sisters and their boys so we could get some pictures of them as well. Little did I know, just about everyone knew about this and they were already coming! (except Eli, because we all know he can not keep a secret)

We got up that morning, got ready and were heading out to a place we had never taken pictures, but I drove past it all the time. Brandon and I pulled up, and it was strange to me that Kent and Janet were there, but I just thought that it was because the boys were getting their pictures taken and they wanted to see them. It had ran through my head that he might be asking, but I told myself that he wasn't because he was so adamant me getting out of school. We took some pictures of Nolan and Easton, before we took our family pictures for the Christmas cards. I took some pictures with Brandon inside the barn window and me out, and then Mrs, Shaunda said that we each had to take pictures individually. Little did I know, it was all about it happen! She had me stand and face her while Brandon was photobombing my picture with a sign they had made. It said "Will you marry me?" She then went behind me to tie my dress because it was blowing and had be turn around and there Brandon was, on the ground on one knee. It did not even seem real, all I could do was go over and hug him... I don't think I let go for a couple minutes. While I was still hugging him, he asked "Do you even want to see the ring?" He showed me the ring again, and I just smiled the biggest smile I have ever smiled. Of course I said YES!!!!

Brandon and Hannah were married September 10th with their friends and family present at Mallard's Croft in Byhalia, MS.
