A DIY Arizona Wedding

"A simple, last minute wedding between childhood sweethearts. Dillon and Taylor got along right away -- He is the grease monkey mechanic and she's the barefoot, flowers in her hair, horseback riding type. Both of them automatically knew they would get married.

The day of the wedding, after the first look, Dillon decided he wanted to visit his hometown of Globe, AZ and get burritos. After breakfast we found ourselves at his childhood home, where it was clear Dillon was happiest when he was "home." The entire wedding was planned by family and friends -- Florals were done by the bride's "second mom" and everything else was spread out among the family. A true "DIY" wedding if there ever was one."

I started The Overwhelmed Bride in November of 2013 after 7 years of planning weddings with other companies. And while booking my first wedding as The Overwhelmed Bride was a HUGE milestone, and then booking my first Northern California wedding was the next, one of my favorite milestones was when I got the call to plan my first out of state wedding!

Earlier this year, I have the pleasure of traveling to Scottsdale, Arizona and experiencing meeting my bride and groom for the first time at their rehearsal. And today, I am going to share that beautiful day with all of you!

I couldn't have asked for a more loving couple, stunning venue, and absolutely amazing vendors to work with on this wedding, and wish this couple the best of love and luck as they begin the next step in their journey together.
